The Commercial Longline Groundline 1/4 Inch is a lightweight high-strength trunk line designed for inshore and moderate-depth demersal longline fishing. It serves as a standard foundational line for small to medium commercial fishing vessels.
Core Performance
This 1/4 inch bottom longline main rope adopts a precision twisted structure that balances strength and flexibility. It effectively resists abrasion from rocky and sandy seabeds, reducing line wear under daily commercial use.
The 6.35mm heavy duty ground fishing line delivers excellent anti-kinking performance. Its uniform twist ensures smooth feeding through both manual and hydraulic haulers, cutting down deck handling time.
Material & Compatibility
Made of premium industrial polymer fibers, the 1/4 commercial longline trunk rope offers strong resistance to saltwater corrosion, UV radiation and marine biofouling. It retains most of its tensile strength after long-term ocean exposure.
This bottom longline ground lead rope fits all standard longline components including snap swivels, gangion hooks and lead sinkers, and works seamlessly with common on-board winch systems.
Specifications & Service
