What is a Counter-Drone Net?
A Counter-drone Net, also known as a Drone Interception Net or Drone Capture Net, is an anti-drone technology that utilizes physical net devices to achieve non-destructive capture of drones. Working Principle

The net is stored folded inside the launch tube of the net gun. During launch, energy is released through an ignition device (gunpowder or high-pressure gas cylinder). The net gun launches the weighted mass attached to the net at a fixed initial velocity and angle. The net passively unfolds under the pull of the weighted mass until it reaches its maximum coverage area. This entire process can be modeled as a lumped mass semi-damped spring model, which primarily simulates the axial stretching changes of the rope.
Capture Process
After the net projectile is launched, the flexible rope net folded inside the net chamber stretches and unfolds under the inertia of the牵引体 (pulling body), making contact and collision with the target. When the flexible net reaches its maximum extension limit, the elasticity causes the pulling body to rebound, causing the flexible net to contract. The pulling body's swinging and wrapping motion completes the capture of the target.
