Fishing object: top fish schools in the sea
Purse seine fishing is specially prepared for catching fish schools that are active near the sea surface. A large net is used to enclose the fish schools. Its specific operation is similar to the following figure:

In order to complete this series of operations, the purse seiner needs to have a flexible hull, so that it is convenient and fast to circle around. There are also several booms on the boat, which are used to continuously release the fishing nets. The fishing net has floated on the top and counterweights underneath. After being enclosed, the bottom of the net is closed with a cable, and then the net can be retracted.
