The Northern Territory's Coastal Line Fishery has received export approval from the Federal Government effectively immediately for three years.
Speaking to the Country Hour, fisherman Cam Druitt said after a lot of hard work, the accreditation was an exciting result for the industry.
"I'm just thrilled and it's wonderful when your dreams come true," he said.
"[The export markets in mind] is primarily China and through South East Asia.
