The 5mm HDPE pot netting is a heavier option for commercial crab pots used in demanding fishing conditions. Its larger twine diameter provides a more substantial net structure while the 140mm mesh allows good water flow through the pot.
It can be supplied as netting panels or cut pieces for pot construction and replacement. Mesh size, dimensions and color can be customized to suit different crab pot designs.

Product Description

For crab pots that see frequent hauling and rough handling, 5mm braided HDPE netting provides a heavier webbing option than standard 3mm or 4mm pot netting. The thicker twine gives the net more body and better resistance to rubbing against the frame, seabed and hauling equipment.

The 140mm full mesh keeps the webbing relatively open, allowing water to pass through the pot without making the covering unnecessarily dense. It works well on larger commercial crab pots and can also be used when replacing worn or damaged pot webbing.
